Laszlo Van Leeuwen Releases Inescapable Infatuation EP

I’m incredibly excited to announce the release of Inescapable Infatuation, my June 2026 EP and the latest chapter in my year-long challenge to release a brand new 5-track EP every month throughout 2026.

This project has become something much bigger than simply releasing music. It’s an ongoing documentary of my life, my thoughts, and my evolution as an artist. Every month is a new snapshot in time, and Inescapable Infatuation is undoubtedly the most personal release I’ve shared so far.

As the title suggests, this EP explores the many forms obsession can take – from longing for a woman, to a fascination with emotional depth, drama, altered states, and the intoxicating pursuit of superstardom. These songs blur the line between music and memoir, combining brutally honest lyricism, intimate voice recordings, and vivid storytelling to reveal moments and experiences that have profoundly shaped who I am.

As a hip hop artist and music producer, I’ve never wanted to be confined by a single sound, and this EP reflects that more than ever. The journey moves from intimate a cappella performances over emotional piano compositions to cinematic rock-rap storytelling, hard-hitting rap, and several styles in between. Every track serves a different emotional purpose while remaining connected by the central theme of infatuation.

One of the highlights of the project is “Superstar,” the Tour de France 2026 anthem. The track captures the relentless drive, sacrifice, ambition, and obsession required to pursue greatness, making it a perfect fit within the broader narrative of the EP.

Like all of my releases, every aspect of Inescapable Infatuation was created independently. I wrote, produced, performed, recorded, and mixed the entire project myself. That creative independence allows every detail to remain true to the vision behind the music.

This EP is raw. It’s cinematic. It’s vulnerable. Above all, it’s honest.
