Inescapable Infatuation is the June 2026 installment in Laszlo Van Leeuwen’s ambitious year-long release series, delivering a new 5-track EP every month. As its title suggests, this collection explores the many forms obsession can take – from longing for a woman, to a fascination with emotional depth, drama, altered states, and the intoxicating pursuit of superstardom.

As a hip hop artist and music producer, Laszlo refuses to be confined by genre. Inescapable Infatuation showcases his widest stylistic range yet, moving effortlessly from intimate a cappella performances over emotional piano compositions to cinematic rock-rap storytelling, hard-hitting rap, and everything in between.

Blurring the line between music and memoir, Inescapable Infatuation is Laszlo’s most personal project to date. Through vivid storytelling, intimate voice recordings, and brutally honest lyricism, he opens the door to moments and memories that have shaped his life, inviting listeners into his inner world with unprecedented vulnerability.

The EP also features the Tour de France 2026 anthem, “Superstar,” capturing the relentless drive, sacrifice, and ambition behind the pursuit of greatness. Its inclusion adds an exhilarating, larger-than-life dimension to a project otherwise rooted in deeply personal reflection.

Every aspect of the EP was created independently by Laszlo himself. Written, produced, performed, recorded, and mixed entirely by the artist, the project stands as a deeply personal and uncompromising artistic statement. Each track offers a different perspective on the seductive forces that pull us beyond reason, reminding us that infatuation is rarely logical, often destructive, but undeniably human.
